The All Mountain Bike – S-Works Enduro.
With 5”s of rear travel and 6” up front thanks to a DHX air and a Fox 36RC respectively the S-Works has enough travel to deal with the Whistler braking bumps, rocks, roots and other assorted obstacles while still retaining the nimbleness of its XC parents. The head angles tight which makes it twitchy at speed but its still so much fun to ride. Where the big rigs accelerate away from you in the rough stuff, you can soon catch them up out of the corners by being able to pedal – a novelty in whistler for some.
The bikes shortcomings are few and far between, the bb’s low and pedal strikes are a common occurrence, but only because you’re actually attempting to pedal over the rough stuff. The forks and rear shock work best through the slower but larger stuff where you can hop and flick the bike over obstacles rather than ploughing through them. The air shock works overtime and you really don’t notice the lack of travel over the bigger bikes. The front end is only let down by the fact you think you can ride rougher stuff at higher speeds on this bike than you can, so you end up with achey hands, if you can physically hold on you could ride pretty much anything.

Its no huck machine by any means you need to be smooth, drop to flats are a no no, you will bottom the rear end out, and they’re prone to blowing.

Where this bike really excels is through the twisty stuff, Angry Pirate, Too Tight etc.
It’s the perfect bike for Valley trails and secret stuff on the mountain, I cant think of anything id prefer to ride on ARRTI.

Pros
Pedalibility
Lightness
Manoeuvrability

Cons
No plough
Harsh over the stutter bumps.
